Zahrah has a Diploma in Culinary Arts from the UK, but her love for baking is rooted in something closer to home: feeding her family.

The long ingredient lists on store-bought bread left her wanting something different for her children. So she started in her own kitchen, choosing the ingredients herself and baking food she felt good bringing to the family table.

That’s where Breadz began. A little bakery in Oakton, Virginia, making honey wheat bread, chocolate chip cookies, and date cake with the same care that started it all.
